subject: Hanzismatter-worthy shirt

I actually laughed out loud when I saw the Chinese on this shirt. Thought I would share. Some smart alec designer had finally had enough.

Presumably the intended sentence is:

這是傳統中文的寫法

which means "this is traditional Chinese way of writing",

with missing "" & "".

  1. 這是傳統寫法 [with 中 omitted] = This is traditionally the way it's written.

這是傳統中文的寫法 [with the addition of 文 & 的] = This is the way to write it in Traditional Chinese writing, where Tradition/traditional is translated verbatim. 傳統中文 doesn't make much sense due to it being too broad: There's many types of written forms in the written Chinese language: xiangxingwenzi, dazhuan, xiaozhuan, jiaguwen, jinwen, lishu, kaishu, caoshu, kuangcao [erratic script], etc...
